Books for Back To School
I know it does feel like school just ended, but now is the time to get your kiddos prepared for the next school year. Back to School time can be an exciting and daunting time for kids. School anxiety is real, and one way we can help minimize it is to read a lot of books about what to expect.
We have new schedules to adjust to and lots of preparations to do at home to get ready. There’s likely to also be some excitement mixed with a bit of nervousness for children as they wonder what their new school year will be like.
Help ease our kids’ nerves by reading and prepping for their next grade level.
The following books about school will reassure your students about school expectations. Discussions could include school rules and routines, making new friends, anxiety, and fears. Some books relate to the difficulties and experiences children face throughout the school year.
Prepping your kids for returning to school can help ease those jitters. Below is a compiled list of Children’s Books for Back to School. This list contains book ideas for your pre-schooler up to 6th grade. These are some of my favorite books that I think help prepare your kids.
