My kiddos always seem to be around to help me out with meal planning and prepping, too.
First, you will want to melt the butter with the marshmallow in the microwave for 45 seconds. When melted, stir until completely combined. It will look like a sticky mess.
Divide your mixture into different bowls. In each bowl, stir in 3 drops of desired gel coloring. Then add in your Rice Krispies cereal to this mixture. Continue to stir until well combined.
Next, spray your plastic Easter eggs for the cooking spray. Then add your Rice Krispies mixture to the plastic mold. Close the plastic egg and let sit for 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Continue to repeat these steps in alternating colors until you are out of the rice krispies mixture. This recipe should make about 20 Easter Eggs.
Now see, wasn’t creating these super simple and easy? I am thinking you can use lots of items around the house as molds. The possibilities are endless.
