Make Your Own Homemade Dry Onion Soup Mix
Making your own Homemade Dry Onion Soup Mix Recipe is simple to make with ingredients that you probably already have in your spice pantry. You will now be able to replace an Onion Soup Mix Packet in a recipe! Perfect for french onion dip, potatoes, chicken and meatloaf! I think everyone should have this staple in their home.
Often times homemade versions are much healthy for you. They taste better, too. You will want to keep in mind that if you are watching your sodium intake you will want to swap out regular Beef Bouillon for a lower sodium version. But beware that, typically lower sodium can mean a more bland flavoring.
I do like to make a double batch and keep in a quart canning jar with a lid with a good rubber seal.
