It seems like cooking the perfect Classic Stacked Double Bacon Cheeseburger ends up being more work than you expect and the taste can never be as good as restaurant quality.
As you know, cheese can easily turn from nicely cooked to overcooked and crisp in just a matter of minutes. Combining stovetop cooking and the use of the oven will prevent the burnt cheese effect. Homemade burgers and chips beat store-bought every time. Why not make a double and freeze a batch?
Thinking ahead, you can make these Cheeseburger patties ahead of time and freeze them flat for a quick and easy dinner or lunch meal throughout the week. Less prep time now means less work on a busier day.
